This is my second post in a day. Earlier in the morning, i practically youtubed till the afternoon. It was a waste of time, definitely. Thank goodness I caught sight of dee's library book and picked it up to read. It's the book for the movie 'he's just not that into you' starring jennifer aniston, oh the irony! I previously thought the book would be full of miserable young ladies complaining but it was surpirisingly a worthwhile read. For those who are in need of post-break up therapy, pick this up. Oh yes, i 'print screened' the virtual make-up game i played moments ago. I'm definitely hooked! Hawa, you have to try it! (http://www.girlsgogames.com/game/Make-up-Girl.html) I admit that i'm a pathetic loser playing this game in a perfectly beatiful evening but it's girly fun okay. How's my masterpiece? I chose a face which was closest to kate moss's. hahaha! Have a long nice break everyone!

Racial harmony was awesome. Everybody was clad in their traditional costumes. Stress on 'everybody' :D Cheers to 4/7! I had a fine day today eventhough its the start of Prelims. At last, I mustered my courage to experiment with my writing. There's alway a part of me which hinders myself from writing the craziest ideas. I guess it's that thing which starts with a P. erghh,so anyway, mom called a while back. Most probably I'll get my phone today :D HAH!

24 hours ago, I had no clue on what to update this space with. Since someone bugged me to post something (you know who you are :P), I shall type something fulfilling. Holidays are coming to an end and the start of the new term awaits me with an exhaustible eagerness. I have yet to finish the assignments my teachers had given me prior to the holidays but I doubt I am able to submit them on time. I have brought myself into this and I deserve whatever repercussions ahead of me. There is no point in feeling the slightest tinge of disappointment right now because time does not pity nor forgives. Nevertheless, I am glad that school is just a day away even though the other half of me rebels as the idea sunk in. Next term will be undeniably my worst nightmare- truckloads of assignments, starting on intensive revision, doing extra work to compensate what I've wasted during this holidays and also sacrificing my time spent with people and gadgets. I don't want to bore you with my blabbering any further, so lets move on to the movie marathon I had yesterday. Dee borrowed  DVDs from IJC's library but her thick skin isn't thick enough to ignore whatever hunches she has towards the librarian. I mean, to hell to the one hair streaked librarian! If she does talk behind your back, she is just making herself appear more less-interesting because her life is too pathetic to be talked about :D So yes, after the thriller we watched a horror movie which was the original version of quaratine and it was in spanish. Good thing there were subtitles or else we just have to stare at moving images and play the game of "what's happening in this scene". REC is no doubt one scary movie. I was immersed in it once the virus truly showed what it was capable of. The ending is unexpectedly freaky and even when I'm typing this, goosebumps are starting to appear on my arms.

I will have to stop talking about the movie or else my ever-so-imaginative mind will start to wonder. erggggg... Anyway, today I went to the library to borrow some books (well, more to enjoy the air-con and escape from doing my assignments..haha!). I've been trying to search for good books whose plots will still linger after days from reading them. However, I will always find the easiest way out and succumb into reading sci-fi. Vampires, lust, werewolves. Yeah the usual :) Most of the good books I've read were recommended by people and rarely do I find myself borrowing good ones. I have yet to master the art of reading between the lines of the summary on the back cover. KARATE chopchopchop in the quiet aisle of the tall standing metal bookcases. After that I ran some errands which I find oddly thrilling - ticking off the checklist in my head, contemplating on which apples to take, swooning over the drugstore items and earning the satisfaction of accomplishing the tasks. Weird with a megacapital W! At home, I skimmed through magazines but managed to read some useful eco-friendly related articles. I guess the idea of going on youtube and watching a documentary sparked from there. I watched an hour and a half documentary titled 'HOME' which in summary is about global destruction and how it affects the earth's natural cycle. From geography, biology to math, the documentary gave hard evidence and numerical statistics to justify the destruction mankind has on the earth. I pondered while watching it. Grades, wealth, materialism, fame are just words which are useless and powerless once the earth starts to retaliate towards our actions. Even now, energy is generated from the power plants to supply our computers with power. Carbon dioxide, heat are released in small amounts but a large sum when everyone on earth are taken into account. Kudos to whoever invented solar panels, windmillers, wave farms. I feel helpless whenever I change my ways to be 'eco-friendly'. Why can't the government just make having solar panels, hybrid cars compulsory to everyone here in sunny Singapore? At least a portion of carbon dioxide emissions are cut down. Ishk, the blog is faulty, it takes so long to upload one photo!
